Surface to Structure: Folded Forms was an origami exhibition showcasing the work of 88 artists from five continents. The exhibit was held from June 19 – July 3, 2014 at 41 Cooper Square, an art museum run by The Cooper Union in New York City. The exhibit marked the 55th anniversary of the first origami exhibition in the United States.

A few months ago, I was given the incredible opportunity to submit my work to be included in the exhibit. Two of my original designs were ultimately selected for inclusion. Seeing my Flower Tessellation and Star Icosahedron designs displayed alongside the work of some of the most well-respected origami artists in the world was truly incredible.

Special thanks to Uyen Nguyen and all of the contributing artists for making the exhibit a success. Her hard work certainly paid off.
