Here’s my latest modular flower design! 🌺
Designed and folded May 2026 from six 3” (7.5cm) squares of back-coated mulberry paper. This model was a result of doodling during CFC6. It can be folded from 5 or 6 units and the units are extremely simple to fold. Assembly is tricky and requires small clothespins, but it is very sturdy on its own once all units are assembled.
I’ll post more variations of this flower soon. I can’t decide which I like the best. Naming suggestions are welcome as well. Let me know what you think! 😊

Folded from 21 square sheets of kraft paper. This design was inspired by the by the CFC Origami “Red & Green” challenge, Brian Beitel’s modulars that I recently test folded, and my Logarithmic Spiral. This is a recursive modular, meaning each stage is folded from progressively smaller squares. This tiny 3-stage rendition is folded from 21 square sheets of kraft paper (7 sheets per stage, ranging from 1.33” to 3”). Diagrams are currently unavailable.

Me encantaría probarlas. Ya hice la versión Roxy y me encantó. Gracias.
It looks great Evan, and it's unusual that it has 18 points... as it's a variation of Roxy's Star, I'd have expected 16 maybe, but not 18. I'd love to test fold any diagrams too. 😊
