I learnt how to fold this star during one of Evan's classes at the Origami Deutschland 2026 Convention in Bonn. This model is folded from 8 squares of green/gold duo kraft paper, each measuring 72.5mm. The completed model measures approximately 10.5cm at its widest point.

Folded from 8 uncut 7.5cm x 7.5cm square sheets of double-sided kraft paper. The units are fairly simple and have a unique folding sequence. I still haven’t decided on a name for this one either, so naming suggestions are welcome. Let me know what you think! Diagrams are currently unavailable.
